Louisiana Off-road Cycling Organization Website
WELCOME TO THE LOCO WEB SITE!

Welcome to the Official Web Site of the Louisiana Off-road Cycling Organization, or LOCO, which is located in Shreveport. LOCO was founded December 1, 2003 on the simple belief that we can accomplish more for the sport of mountain biking in Louisiana by working together than we could ever accomplish alone.

Information regarding joining LOCO is located under the "Frequently Asked Questions" link in the WELCOME CENTER block on the upper left of this page. We need you so please join.

THE RIDE CALENDAR, MESSAGE FORUM and GROUP EMAILS

The ride calendar, message forum and group email list on this web site are provided as a public service to the entire mountain biking community in North Louisiana. You are free to send emails and to post rides or events, or to participate in rides or events already posted. LOCO does not monitor, supervise, sponsor or endorse the emails, message forums or the rides or other events posted on the calendar or forums, and LOCO assumes no liability or responsibility for any email or forum post or for any accidents, injuries or damages suffered in connection with any ride or event.

TRAILS

LOCO does not own, control, or manage any trails, and is not responsible for the condition of any trails. Riders assume own risk.
LOCO does not endorse the building or riding of ‘stunts’ without the documented permission of the land owner(s).
LOCO does not support or condone building of trails without the permission of the landowner(s).

GROUP EMAILS

If you want to receive group emails sent from users of this web page, you need to click on the "Group Emails" link and subscribe yourself. Otherwise, you will miss the group notices that are sent out using that feature. And that would be a shame. You can always go back in and unsubscribe yourself at anytime.

Receiving the emails and notices is a two step process: (1) SUBSCRIBE. You must subscribe yourself by following the Group Emails link. (2) CONFIRM. You will immediately receive an automated email message containing a link. You MUST click that link to confirm your subscription. If you ignore that email, you will not receive the group emails. If you have problems getting or sending emails, the likely problem is that you subscribed, but you didn't click the link to confirm. To correct that, go back to Group Emails and unsubscribe, then go through the steps to subscribe and confirm again.

LIST MEMBERS

If you sign up and become a registered user of this site, please take the time to complete your profile by adding your name to the List of Members. Otherwise, folks will not know how to contact you and will not recognize your posts in the message forums(especially if your login name to this site is a bunch of meaningless letters or symbols strung together).

**** IMPORTANT CALENDAR NOTE ****
When you post a ride to the calendar or a message in the message forums, please put your name and email in the description section or message, so other users will know who posted it and others can contact you to discuss your ride, post, suggestion or comment.
