LOCO's Website and Forum!
Register now to access all the forums and capabilities. This is a brand new system and we are starting from scratch on users, forums, calendars and PM's. If you had a user account on the old system you will still need to register and customize your new user account on this system. We will be trying different options with the new software and making updates to graphics and layouts in the future so any suggestions will be appreciated.
TIP: You can click the little arrow in the top right of each section to minimize or maximize that section for easy viewing and a customized appearance.
LOCO's Off-Road Cycling Beginner Skills Clinic and Ride RETURNS ----------------------------------------------------------------------- This ride will take place June 13, 2010 from 2 PM - 4 PM at the Stoner Mountain Bike Trails. *WEATHER PERMITTING*
Directions: Located at the boat launch parking lot at Stoner Ave and Clyde Fant Pkwy.
This ride is open to the public at no cost. It is focused on giving the beginning mountain biker the skills and confidence to ride on dirt. The rides will be at an easy pace on a trail that is very beginner friendly.
Each ride will start with a 20 minute workshop on basic bike maintenance and trail-side repairs. Each participant should being their own bicycle and a helmet (mandatory).
Families are welcome and encouraged to attend, but children must be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. LOCO is not responsible for any accidents or injuries. Participants assume all risks of injury or damage.

LOCO Trails Featured in Mountain Bike Action
The Jan 08 issue of MBA has very good 8 page feature on the trails here in NorLa.
The trails featured in the magazine are Monkey, Barksdale, Bodcau, Bistineau, Caney, Claiborne and Ruston.
